'Highlighting danger in the darkness'. Based on the article that tells the secrets of building lighthouses across history. The main image of the article is Alexandria's Lighthouse (Egypt), which was the biggest known construction ever made until Middle Age. Inside, there is a hieroglyph of the Egyptian God Ra, which represents the creation, crowned with a mix of a Sun and a rudder referred to lighting, the knowledge for lost boaters, and the evolution of illumination technologies.

"The Secrets of Autumn". Based on the article that integrates a traditional tale from the Basque mythology into a modern story. The main character meets the spirit of the sacred wood, which main goal is to give trees' leaves their own colour every change of season. It explains which chemistry components are charged of leaves' staining.

Branding of a new service to index all the art places from Barcelona. 6 main categories: Architecture / Performing Arts / Plastic Arts / Music / Litterature / Visual Arts and 3 more subcategories, achieving to 9 subcategories in total. More than 250 places spotted all over the city. Maps, brochures, urban signage, focused advertisements, a website or a mobile app are charged to make the passer an easier journey to enjoy the huge amount of cultural events in the city. vigésima_centuria mono [twentieth_century mono], revives monospaced typography, with a historical approach and inspired on the structure, simplicity and modernity of grotesque typefaces of the 1st half of the 20th century. Its basical structure is a perfect rectangle of 2x1 size. With a strong geometrical construction, it's given an extra space of 1/8 of the total height of the upper-case for the ascenders. Thanks to that, the diacritic accents have a generous space which increases the speed of good readability. This font will support characters from latin extended alphabet, greek and cyrillic.

vigésima_centuria mono, revive la tipografía monoespaciada, con un enfoque historicista e inspirada en la estructura, simplicidad y modernidad de las fuentes grotescas de la 1ª mitad del siglo xx. Su estructura de base es un rectángulo perfecto de dimensiones 2x1. Con una marcada construcción geométrica, se aporta un espacio de 1/8 del tamaño de la caja alta extra a las ascendentes. De esta manera, los acentos diacríticos tienen un espacio generoso para favorecer una lectura mucho más rápida en texto corrido. Esta tipografía soportará caracteres del alfabeto latino extendido, griego y cirílico.
Project for practising the lay-out. The concepts are related to funny situations, lapsus-linguæ moments or thoughts during the erasmus period in France.
Being asked to think about something that could be built in an arts and design school related to a typographic installation, I chose the words -art& design-. Making an exploration with the letters, on how they would be distributed into the space, achieving a visual game with different perspectives to read both words.
